Your friendly neighborhood island beer pop-up, brought to you by ABC Beer Co. and Edi & the Wolf

Governors Island Beer Co. opened in July of 2017 on New York's beautiful historic outdoor oasis, Governors Island. It's the collaboration of two neighboring businesses back on the "big island," barely a mile due northeast on Avenue C in the East Village: Alphabet City Beer Co. (or ABC Beer Co. for short), an award-winning craft beer store and bar, and Edi & the Wolf, an award-winning Austrian restaurant helmed by Michelin-starred chef, Edi Frauneder.

After moving from our original home in Liggett’s Terrace, we’re happy to be back in action as a fun little pop-up on the grounds of Taco Vista! Come by for fresh cans of your favorite beers from New York City, Upstate, and beyond!

Edi, Zach, and David realize how special a day trip over the Governors Island is for New Yorkers, and we would love to host you. Come meet us for a drink before you sail off back to the city!
